Personal History Anistyn was born in San Diego, CA. She is the only known child of Rosanne Valentine. Even before Anistyn was born, Roseanne struggled with drugs and other illegal activities. This resulted in Anistyn being born with drugs in her system and going through withdrawals. It was while Anistyn was still in the hospital that children and youth services became involved with the family and Anistyn was placed in the care of her maternal grandmother, while Roseanne tried to get herself together.

Shortly after Anistyn's 2nd birthday, Alysha became ill and could no longer care for Anistyn and children and youth moved Anistyn into the care of her maternal aunt and uncle. 4 days after her 3rd birthday, Anistyn was officially adopted by Alexis and David; Roseanne would occasionally make an appearance and make promises but would not follow through.

David and Alexis were both active military at the time of the adoption. David was a cyber operations officer and Alexis was a language officer. After Nicholas was born, the family moved into a home in TIerra Santa neighborhood of San Diego. The children attended local schools. Anistyn graduated from high school at the age of 17 and the following fall, she enlisted in the US Marine Corps; following in her parents footsteps

Anistyn attended basic training at Recruit Depot San Diego. At the end of the 13 week program, she transferred to Camp Pendleton and completed her SOI training and was then accepted into her military occupational speciality school and was transferred to Fort Leonardwood, MO to completed her basic police training course.

Upon completing the basic program, Anistyn was transferred to her permenant duty station at Beaufort, SC. While stationed at Beaufort, Anitsyn met and married Ethan, who was a pilot in the Marine Corps Air wing. Spending the next seven years as a military police officer. After being in for three years, Anistyn became a K-9 officer and learned how to work with a four legged partner named Dargo. Dargo was a 2 year old Malinois from Austria. Dargo lived with she and Ethan and was a member of the family.

After seven years in the corps, Anistyn's enlistment was coming due and she decided that she wanted to try her hand at civilian life. With Ethan's agreement, she applied to WCSO and was hired as a deputy. Dargo was officially retired with Anistyn and remains a part of their family. She and Ethan continue to work with him and keep his skills sharp, mostly hunting squirrels and rabbits at this point, but it keeps him active.
